We will start from Marrakech before 8:00 in the morning, in order to drive to Ouarzazate- a former caravan town on the silk and salt route in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Ouarzazate is also known as the Gateway to the Sahara..
Passing through the Berber town of Taddert and over the 2260 meters high Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, we will move 30 kilometres from Ouarzazate, to the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah. Aït Benhaddou Kasbah has one of the most exciting red earth castles lining the ancient road of the Kasbahs (UNESCO world heritage site since 1987).
We will have our lunch at the Kasbah and continue on our way to Dadés Gorge via Ouarzazate, “The Hollywood of Africa”. We will pass through the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs” among the fascinating “Sand Castles”. Then we will continue our journey and stop at Kalaat M’Gouna, “The Rose’s City” known for roses and is most known for the “Roses Festival” which takes place in the city every year in May. We will then continue to the hotel in the heart of the Dadés Gorges, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan evening meal and breakfast for the next morning.

However, the principal water source of Midelt is a spring at the foot of Jbel Ayachi (3,757 m), one of the highest mountains in North Africa, and anchors the Eastern High Atlas in central Morocco.
