7 Days from Tangier to Tangier
Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen
Upon arrival you will be met by our staff and briefed on the tour. Travel to the fortress town of Chefchaouen nestled in the Rif Mountains. The town is located within a natural biosphere reserve and has plenty to offer. Its buildings and houses are all painted in blue and white. Free time to explore on your own. Overnight stay in a local Riad located in the medina.
Day 2: Chefchaouen
On your day 2 you will enjoy breakfast first and then have a free day to discover Chefchaouen on your own. The town is also known for a number of products that are made locally. In fact it is a popular destination for shopping. Overnight stay in Riad.
Day 3: Chefchaouen - Fes
In the morning depart after breakfast from the Riad to the Imperial city of Fes which is one of the holy cities of Moroccan Muslim worship proud of hosting one of the oldest universities in the world. The afternoon will be free to relax and have a first contact with the city that will take you into the past. Overnight stay a Riad/Hotel.
Day 4: Fes (Guided tour of Fes).
On day four after breakfast, you will discover the city of Fes on a guided tour with our local guide. By entering the streets of the medina (old city) you will feel that the time recedes: the guild structure is still present in the work, its narrow streets allows no other transportation other than donkeys and a constant swarm of people move the labyrinthine alleys through which you will notice fascinating neighbourhoods such as the Andalusians, the magnificent mosques and the Koranic schools. Fes has always been associated with intellectual activities and religion, and it remains the spiritual capital of Morocco. Overnight stay at a local Riad/Hotel.
Day 5: Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Moulay Idriss - Meknes
After breakfast, we head west to get to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city and most important archaeological site in Morocco. Free time to explore the site. Continue the journey to Mulay Idris, one of the most important pilgrimage centers of Morocco. The third stop worth a visit is Meknes, the “humble” among the Four Imperial Cities of Morocco. In Meknes you will have free time to eat and visit the most important places of the city, walk into its souk or enjoy a coffee in the square. Dinner and overnight stay at a Riad/Hotel.
Day 6: Meknes - Rabat - Asilah
After breakfast, you will set off to Asilah through Rabat. Visit of the Moroccan capital city includes: the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower, the Kasbah Oudaya, etc. In the afternoon you will continue to the town of Asilah, where you can relax and stroll around a beautiful white medina.
Day 7: Tangier - Tangier port or airport
After breakfast, private transfer to the airport or port for departure.
